Nature Walks

There is nothing better than having a relaxed nature stroll (especially now that it is offically spring!) ; I absolutely love it when the sun is beating down, the birds are chirping but most of all, it is a nice distraction from reality to escape into your own thoughts and reflect on how you are feeling in certain moments of time. It is most enjoyable in the spring and summer months as it warms up a little, but hey that doesn't mean nature strolls in the wintry snow can't be fun! I thought I'd share some of my favourite snaps from walks that I find relaxing and where it is nice to explore.

A beautiful place to go for walks definitely has to be along the beach. With the crashing sea against the shore and the salty breeze in the air, it couldn't be more relaxing! Often, my family and I like to go to a pebble beach in Somerset. It is so calm and peaceful and instantly makes you feel at ease. I adore the stunning pier close to the beach and the scenery there is so pretty. It is a perfect get away to chill and let off steam. Sandy beaches in the summer are an escape to relaxation. The feeling of the sand in between your toes and the soft waves covering your feet is something that makes me enjoy the beach so much, especially when you don't live close to the beach at all :(

Walks in the park and around local areas are also enjoyable. Recently, my mum and I have been going on morning strolls around our local area and we have been enjoying it alot. It is nice being with someone instead of being on your own sometimes too as you have someone to share the journey with and to chat to. We have been having fun expressing our thoughts and feelings and giggling about the things that make us laugh. Sometimes you don't often realise that walking allows you to reflect on how you're feeling; whether it is about your experiences at work, school or feeling stressed and tired, time alone or time with someone you get along with really helps. Plus seeing the natural beauty surrounding you makes it even more enjoyable!

Maybe this will encourage you to start going on nature stolls and having more 'you' time to view the surroundings around you and most importantly relax! Lots of love xo
