I thought it would be nice to tell you guys what makeup products I have been using recently and which ones I've been loving, so I am going to write all about the products I use on a daily basis!

So first of all after cleansing and moisturising my face, I like to start my base using the Seventeen CC cream and Stay Time concealer. I much prefer to use the CC cream as it is lovely and light on the skin, doesn't feel as heavy as a foundation and provides enough coverage without leaving a thick layer of product over the face. The concealer is also nice and light and glides onto the skin very smoothly under the eyes. I often use the trick of drawing my concealer as triangles under my eyes to brighten up those horrible dark circles!

I then move on to finishing off my base, adding bronzer, blush and lots of sparkly highlight to give me a luminous glow. I have currently been loving the `Dior bronzing powder in the shade 'Light Tan', the beautiful Clarins blusher in the shade 'Soft Peach', and the L'oréal Paris eyeshadow in the shade 'Golden Beige' as my stunning highlight. The Dior bronzer is brilliant, especially now as Spring time is edging very closely, as it gives a very natural glow with a slight hint of shimmer. I often glide the bronzer with an angled brush around the perimeter of my face and under my cheekbones. To add a soft pop of colour to my cheeks, I have been wearing the Clarins blusher which is something that I don't normally opt for, but I think I have changed my mind since winter is over! Finally, the sparkly golden beige eyeshadow is perfect for a highlighter too as it gives the perfect hint of sparkle and shine to make those cheekbones POP!
Now when I am in a rush, I will not bother filling my eyebrows in at all because I'll be wasting my time, so what I prefer to do, is to use gentle strokes using the Benefit 'Gimme Brow' Gel through my eyebrow hairs. I tend to glide the brush firstly in the opposite direction of the way the hairs should be, and then brush them back the normal way so they appear to look fuller and more natural: I often do this everyday and normally only tend to fill them in nicely if I have an occasion. For that, I use the Clarins 'Perfect Eyes and Brows' palette which is useful to use for special events more like photos, parties etc.
One of the main products I have been obsessed with is this Clinique eyeshadow duo in the shade 'Strawberry Fudge' (isn't that just the cutest name ever!). These shades are so pigmented and are so natural, meaning they are perfect to wear to school, college or work without looking too heavy. The shades look stunning together, or even wearing each shade alone: I am in love!
When finishing my eyes, mascara has to be the one and only thing that pulls everything together. Now I actually have three mascaras that I've been loving as a combo recently because they do the job so well! I use the Lancome Hypnose, the Maybelline Colossal Volume Express, and the No7 Lash Impact mascara together to add length and volume and to also make my lashes very fluttery instead of looking thin and limp. A hack I like to use is to bend the wand applicator myself so it looks curved to fit your lashline, instead of paying money for a brand new mascara that could do the same job; it has definitely improved the way my lashes look and I can see a large change in my mascara application!
The final touch is to add a splash of colour to the lips. At the moment, the NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams have been my holy grail. I have been using either the shade 'Abu Dhabi' (the lighter shade) or sometimes I go for the shade 'Rome', the darker shade. As well as smelling delicious, they have a soft texture and don't dry the lips completely out of moisture at all. Plus, the range of shades they have in store are insane! I would definitely check them out if you love your matte lip colours like I do!
So that is the makeup products that I will use on a day to day basis. That was one long post, but I do hope that you found this interesting and fun to read!
Lots of love xo
